Christmas fun days
Families are getting into the Christmas spirit thanks to a number of festive fun days around the city.
Residents in Whitleigh enjoyed carols and readings from the Salvation Army yesterday (Thursday) at Whitleigh Green as well as an open mic session.
There was also food and drink, prize draws and a charity raffle as well as information stalls from PCH, the NHS and the police.
The fun continues today (Friday) in Ernesettle with a Santa’s Grotto at the Budshead Trust from 3pm to 7pm.
PCH has donated £200 towards gifts for local children while our contractor FHM have given a £100 gift voucher towards a raffle.
Adam Stockman, housing officer at Estover, said: “PCH works very closely with the Budshead Trust as their youth and families work greatly benefits not just our customers but Ernesettle as a whole.
Residents in North Prospect are invited to their own fun day at the Halcyon Centre in Dingle Road from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday (20 December).
Father Christmas will be dishing out presents for children and there will be free mince pies, hot drinks and a colouring competition.
There will also be information stands staffed by the regeneration team, debt management team, police community support officers and tenancy management team.
