We have been awarded two awards by the British Safety Council for our commitment to health and safety.
We have won two International Safety Awards with Merit from the British Safety Council (BSC) in recognition of our commitment to keeping our workers and workplaces healthy and safe throughout 2016.
We are one of only 300 organisations worldwide to win a Merit in the 2017 International Safety Awards across a wide range of sectors.
The awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world which have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the year.
Mark Henderson, Head of Property and Safety said: “We are extremely proud to have won the awards at the 2017 awards continuing with last year’s success. These awards clearly demonstrate our continuing best practice in health and safety management and working practices during the year, which helps to keep our residents and staff safe.”
Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the BSC congratulated PCH on our success: “The British Safety Council commends PCH on their achievement. The award is in recognition of their commitment and efforts to keep their employees, customers and workplaces free of injury and ill health.”
