Elaine Pellow – Chair Elaine is a former training officer in modern apprenticeships and has received a community volunteering award for her services to the community. Elaine was appointed as Chair of the Board on the 10th October 2011 and is also a member of the Governance Committee and the Customer Focus Committee. |

Peter Ebsworth Peter is a tenant and former Chair of PETRA (Plymouth Federation of Tenants and Residents Associations). Peter was very involved in the Stock Transfer process and was the Chair of the Shadow Board and then the Chair of the Board for two years until October 2011. Peter is Chair of the PCH Services Board and is a member of the PCH Regeneration Company Board. Peter is committed as a Board member to ensure that Plymouth Community Homes becomes the landlord of choice. |

Nigel Warn Nigel has been a Council tenant and now a Plymouth Community Homes tenant for 30 years. Nigel is employed by DML in Plymouth and has been a union representative with GMB for seven years. Nigel chairs the Governance Committee and works wholeheartedly as a Board member for the benefit of the tenant. |

Sheila Cooper Sheila is a leaseholder and has lived in Plymouth for 45 years. Sheila has spent many years working on behalf of other people, including as part of the Witness Support service. As part of the transfer process Sheila worked hard to ensure that the voices and concerns of leaseholders were heard, including making sure that a number of commitments were made to leaseholders about improvements to services. Since the transfer and prior to being elected onto the Board Sheila has sat on the Service Charge review group, aiming to ensure the fair costing of services. Sheila is very enthusiastic and committed in making sure that the services that PCH provides are as good as possible. Sheila is a member of the Customer Focus Committee. |

Roger Pipe Roger is the General Manager at the Millfields Trust. He has spent the majority of his working life in the voluntary and community sectors working for both large national organisations as well as those with a neighbourhood focus. Roger is also a member of the Wealthy Theme group of the Local Strategic Partnership, and Chair of the Regional Network Committee of the Development Trust Association. Roger is a member of the Governance Committee. |

Alan Clifford Alan was formerly the city treasurer at Plymouth City Council until his retirement in 2004 and remains active in a number of voluntary roles. Alan Chairs the Audit and Risk Committee and sits on the Governance Committee. |

Katie Pratt Katie is currently the Chief Executive of the regional equality and human rights body, Equalities South West. Katie began her career in Local Government having attended the University of Plymouth to study Criminal Justice and Psychology. Since then Katie has worked in both strategic and community focused positions at Dorset County Council, Devon County Council and Plymouth City Council. Katie is passionate about Plymouth and wanted to join the PCH Board to offer her time and expertise to ensure PCH have the most positive influence for the community, including PCH staff and residents. Katie is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. |

Maureen Alderson Maureen is a highly skilled and experienced public policy professional with expertise in governance and public administration in both the UK and the USA. Maureen has most recently worked for the South West Regional Development Agency as the Head of Policy and Strategy. Maureen has also worked for Plymouth City Council, the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU), the Democratic Health Network and the City of New York. Although Maureen has dealt with the periphery of housing, it is a subject that caught Maureen’s interest and Maureen jumped at the chance to join the PCH Board when a position became vacant. Maureen says that PCH benefits from being a new organisation, it has a little more freedom and is less “this is the ways it’s always been done’. Maureen believes that PCH has the right leadership in place and a positive ethos. Maureen is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Customer Focus Committee. |

Jack Thompson Jack is a Councillor for the Budshead Ward and worked in Africa for 25 years as a senior manager for international aid agencies in the development finance sector. Jack is the Chair of the PCH Regeneration Company Board. |

Nicky Williams Nicky works as an assistant to Alison Seabeck MP, Shadow Housing Minister. Nicky has spent the majority of her working life as a political advisor, her areas of expertise are Education, Governance, Economic Development and Housing Policy. Nicky is a trustee of the Emma Stirling Bequest, sits on the Growth and Prosperity Overview and Scrutiny Panel for Plymouth City Council and is also the Chair of the Plymouth Labour Group. Nicky is delighted to have been appointed to the Board and as Chair of the Customer Focus Committee and says that PCH is committed to providing better places to live and putting residents first. Nicky is pleased to be part of an organisation which will have such a positive impact on many people’s lives across Plymouth. |

Sue Dann Prior to May 2011, Sue was a Councillor for the Moor View Ward. She has a background in HR and customer services, and was formerly Cabinet member for Transport and Human Resources. Sue works for Working Links in the South West and is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. |

Brian Roberts Prior to May 2011, Brian was a Councillor for the Southway Ward. Brian is the Assistant District Commissioner for the Plymouth Scout Association, Chairman of the Southway Surgery Support Group, Southway Information Centre (benefits advice), and Northern Network. |
