We are creating places where people want to live, now and in the future.
45,000 people live in a PCH home that’s almost 20% of the population. We own and manage over 14,000 homes – that’s 80% of the housing association owned homes in the city. We’re about better homes, more homes and helping communities thrive because of them.
We want the community to thrive; we do that by building new homes for rental and for shared ownership, helping people invest in their own future.
We will build new affordable homes for future generations; to make sure that people have decent place to live and access to the opportunities they deserve. In this way we are helping the residents of Plymouth have a better future.
Building new homes
We started building homes in 2011 and since then we have delivered 200 new homes for rent and shared ownership. Over the next 5 years we will deliver 510 new homes. By 2020 we will have built 710 new homes for Plymouth at a cost of £110 million.
Working with stakeholders
PCH is a major stakeholder in Plymouth and we will engage directly with residents about our proposed developments. We continue to work with stakeholders such as the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Plymouth City Council (PCC) to get the best results for the people of Plymouth.
