Subsidiaries

PCH owns and runs several subsidiaries with the aim of generating profits to invest back into our parent company so that we can build and provide more homes for people who need them. We are really clear that we work in a commercial way to achieve our social purpose. Read more about each of our subsidiaries below.

PCH Enery Company owns photovoltaic cells (solar panels) on a number of Plymouth Community Homes’ properties. Tenants in properties with solar panels benefit from electricity produced by these panels and we benefit from the Government's feed in tariff, which means we get paid for any surplus energy the panels produce. Any profits are reinvested back into PCH parent company to help build and provide more homes for people in need.
