Shoshanah, a 15-year-old PCH resident will be completing a skydive on 1 October 2023 to raise vital funds for Women’s Aid.

The skydive will be taking place on her 16th birthday, and she is asking for donations to raise money for a cause very close to her family.

Shoshanah said: “I am doing a skydive for my 16th birthday to raise funds for Women’s Aid. This helps many families be safe and free from domestic abuse.

“I have never been skydiving before but I need to do this, and would absolutely love to help women and children experiencing domestic abuse as they helped to give my mum and my siblings the life we have now. That’s why I need your help to raise funds and to donate to this amazing cause.”

Women’s Aid has helped to change the life of Shoshana’s mother who has been on an extensive journey of growth over the past eight years.

Shoshanah and her siblings are so proud of their mum for turning her life around, qualifying as a Yoga Teacher, a teacher and completing a Masters, and recently saw her graduate in the ceremony that marked a huge milestone in their journey as a family.

They can now spend time together as a family, treasuring every moment, and her mum continues to share mindfulness techniques with other PCH residents as a result of her experiences.
