Getting a home with us

Plymouth Community Homes is part of Devon Home Choice.

All our available homes are advertised as part of the Devon wide scheme that allows you to consider homes that are available to rent.  Devon Home Choice has a website where all properties for rent, including ours, are advertised.

You can look at our homes that are for letting without registering with Devon Home Choice.  If you want to bid for a property you do need to be registered.  To find out more about getting registered you can;

  • Pick up an application form from Plymouth City Council‘s Midland House, their one stop shop for housing advice.
  • Apply on line at the Devon Home Choice website.
  • Call us on 0800 694 3101 and ask for the Housing Choices Team
  • Visit any of our housing branch offices.  Locations of the offices can be found by clicking on Contact Us, which is on the menu at the left of this page.

Already a Plymouth Community Homes tenant and looking for a new home? PCH has launched a new mutual exchange service for its tenants

HomeSwapper is for social tenants (in rented property) who want a house swap, flat swap or to exchange their council house.

This service is free for PCH tenants and allows you to look for exchanges locally or nationally to match your needs – just remember to get your housing officer’s permission first.

HomeSwapper covers the whole of the UK, and 70% of new matches are matched to properties within 24 hours.
