How to pay

Payment of housing rents, home contents insurance and housing benefit overpayment accounts can be made:

  • by direct debit
  • at any Housing Office
  • at the Civic Centre
  • at any Post Office
  • at any PayPoint outlet
  • via the Plymouth Council online payments page
  • by telephone, 0800 917 9456 (24 hours per day)
  • by post

Methods of payment accepted

  • cash, cheque, debit or credit card at housing offices
  • cash, cheque, debit or credit card at the Civic Centre
  • cash, cheque or debit card at any Post Office
  • cash at any PayPoint outlet
  • debit or credit card via the Plymouth Council online payments page
  • debit or credit card by telephone on 0800 917 9456
  • cheque payable to Plymouth Community Homes, sent to Princess Court, 23 Princess Street, Plymouth, PL1 2EX
  • direct debit

Payment by direct debit

Paying your rent by direct debit is easy, safe and reliable.  You can choose to have it collected on the first or on the 15th of the month and you will receive a notification confirming the amounts to be taken by direct debit.

Please contact us on 0800 693 3101 or call your local Housing Office to arrange your direct debit.
