Coronavirus Update - Friday 11 February 2022
There have been more changes to the coronavirus rules, so please familiarise yourselves with the latest updates to the guidance, which we have summarised below.
The government has said it hopes to bring all restrictions to an end in the near future, providing no new variants of concern emerge.
In the meantime, however frustrating it can be, it’s important to continue to follow the rules as we all hope to return to normal soon.
To keep up to date with any changes, please go to the government website.
Changes to self-isolation rules
If you do not have symptoms but have received a positive Lateral Flow Test (LFT) result, you must self-isolate and report your result on the gov.uk website. You no longer need to book a PCR test if symptomless.
You can report a positive LFT test by clicking here. If you need an LFT test, please click here to order one.
If you have symptoms, you must self-isolate, and you must book a PCR test. You must do this even if your LFT test has shown a negative result.
Normal working conditions
You no longer need to work from home.
You no longer need to wear a face mask but are encouraged to in crowded areas when indoors.
This is especially important if you are mixing with people you don’t normally mix with, for any prolonged amount of time.
Face masks are no longer required in schools.
Plumer House is open to residents again. Face masks are required in the building for staff and residents alike.
Opening hours are 9am until 5pm from Monday to Thursday, and 9am until 4.30pm on Fridays.
All adults are still eligible for a booster jab. Click here to book your booster jab.
If you haven’t been vaccinated at all, you can still find your nearest pop-up vaccination clinic by clicking here.

TWO chances to win a £75 voucher
Feedback from residents is essential for PCH to know what we're getting right. Hearing from you is how we can improve our services. There are currently two opportunities to do this, and you could be in for a chance to win a £75 voucher.
For our first survey you won’t even need to leave your seat. The questions are about how we assess our services. This survey is online and you can be found by clicking here.
Next week we are hosting two focus groups at Plumer House. We have two sessions on Wednesday 16 February at 6pm to 7:30pm or Thursday 17 February at 10am to 12pm.
