Eco homes to go under the spotlight
Our work to deliver the South West’s biggest Passivhaus project will be the subject of a major housing summit next Tuesday.
Head of Development Andrew Lawrie will explain the process we had to go through to deliver Primrose Park, our low-energy 72-home scheme in Whitleigh.
He will talk alongside David Pengelly from Mi-space, our building partners for the scheme, which was completed earlier this year.
The pair are speaking at the Constructing Excellence South West Housing Summit in Exeter, one of the main regional networking events of the year.
The summit is aimed at anyone from the private and affordable housing sector and will debate ideas for solving the housing crisis.
The keynote speaker will be Kerry MacHale from the Ministry of Housing and there will be contributions from Curo Homes, Magna Housing and Cornwall Council.
Andrew said: “I look forward to sharing some of our experiences in delivering this challenging project and trust others will find this useful.
“We also need to inspire (especially public sector) landowners to be willing to release sites for this type of development which benefits residents and the environment.”
