Finance Director of the Year shortlisting for Nick Jackson
Plymouth Community Homes’ Director of Business Services and Development, Nick Jackson has been shortlisted for Finance Director of the Year at the Housing Finance Awards.
The Housing Finance Awards are organised by the National Housing Federation and the winner will be announced at the National Housing Federation Finance Conference in Liverpool on 20 March.
Alongside Nick, others to be shortlisted include Finance Directors from Stonewater, CHP, Hyde Housing and Curo. The award will honour a truly exceptional finance director and the contribution of an individual heading a high performing team that can make a critical difference between good and outstanding service.
On being shortlisted Nick said: “I was very touched that John with the finance team decided to nominate me for this award and it’s an honour to be shortlisted. There isn’t an effective finance director without an effective finance team and we have an exceptional team. Over the years we have managed the finances of PCH to maximise the impact for tenants of fulfilling the transfer promises, ensured we established the regeneration of North Prospect and boosted our wider development ambitions.
“We have enabled PCH to cope financially with difficult times and the refinancing in 2017 has put us on a secure footing for the future as recognised in our A+ credit rating by Standard and Poor’s and the recent Regulatory Judgement giving us the highest grading of V1 for viability.
“PCH is a great place to work and being nominated for this award feels like a reflection of the tremendous work done by everyone in PCH to deliver the best services we can for current and future tenants.”
PCH has previously won Housing Finance awards for best report from the Board within our Statutory Accounts and our approach to Risk Management.
