The future homeowners of our first four homes at Silver Hill have been given a tour of the scheme and their new homes for the first time as the initial phase nears completion.
The development off Tamerton Foliot Road in Crownhill is a joint venture between Plymouth Community Homes Regeneration Company and Halsall Homes of 38 homes including 27 for private sale, six for shared ownership and five for affordable rent.
Silver Hill is our first open market development with Bradleys Estate Agents selling these homes on our behalf. The shared ownership homes will be sold through our sales brand SO Living whilst the affordable homes will be available to those on the local housing register.
This is the first time that the purchasers have visited the site since reserving off-plan and the first homes are due to be completed in July 2022.
Amongst the first four purchasers are Marie and Craig, who are currently living in Plymouth with Marie running her cake business whilst at their temporary home.
Marie and Craig said: “It’s really exciting to finally see the property in real life and take some pictures so we can visualise where our furniture is going to go. We are already planning on adding an island to the kitchen.
“We cannot wait to get our belongings out of storage and into such a spacious property ready to start our new chapter.”
Tracey White, Sales and Marketing Manager at Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) acting for both PCH Regeneration Company and Halsall Homes, said: “It was very exciting to meet our first purchasers and give them a tour of their new homes. The homes are built to a high quality and the scheme itself is in a brilliant location surrounded by woodland that you often forget you are still in the city.
“Silver Hill will be a really special place to live and we cannot wait to welcome our first homeowners to the scheme in the coming weeks.”
