Learn for Free is here!

We’re launching our brand new Learn for Free programme so come on in and have a look…

We’ve been working to bring you a new and improved Learn for Free. So first up we pitched the branding and the logo to residents who helped us to come up with the new design.

To make thing easier for you to find the right course, Learn for Free will now be split into three separate strands of involvement:

  • Get skilled – no matter what your ability we will equip you with the qualifications and tools you need to be able to get ahead in your career.

Get skilled will including qualifications such as food hygiene, health and safety and customer service. These new skills can be worthwhile for those who are job hunting, volunteering or progressing into work. The other skills including first aid and cooking can also come in handy at home.

  • Get involved – this is your opportunity to be involved with PCH and help us to improve our services to residents.

Whether it’s getting involved with your community, getting involved with PCH or learning the skills to be involved in any committee or club then you’ll find the help you need here. New skills include event planning, listening skills and chairing skills. You might be able to be involved in helping us shape our services to our residents.

  • Get together – is a range of clubs that we provide where you can meet like-minded people and make new friends.

Get together is the part of our programme that includes clubs and activities where you can meet new people while exploring different hobbies and interests. Share knowledge and learn new skills like, crafts, photography and computing.
