Our summer in Plymouth photography competition has itself a winner after a difficult afternoon of judging.

We have had a variety of photographs that showcased summer in Plymouth, with the standard of entries extremely high.

After whittling down the shortlist, it was agreed by the Photography Club that Bradley Darlington’s image (pictured above) was deserving of first prize and a £50 Love2Shop voucher. Bradley’s image captures a tiger at Dartmoor Zoo, a popular visitor’s attraction for many this summer.

Jo Steel, Resident Co-ordinator said: “Our photography competitions are proving very popular with residents and the standard of our entries just keeps on getting better. I’d like to thank everyone for taking the time and effort to capture some amazing photography.

“Congratulations to Bradley for winning the competition, the judges were all in agreement that this photo should be our winner and it really is a fantastic shot.”

Next Competition:

Our next competition subject is ‘Reflections’. We would like to see photographs that demonstrate the use and art of reflections, so use your creative skills and send us your image to news@PlymouthCommunityHomes.co.uk or send via our Facebook page.
