PCH AGM 2018 welcomes new board members

Our shareholders have just considered and approved the appointment of auditors, annual accounts, our Value for Money strategy and the minutes from the previous year at our annual AGM.

Attended by shareholders, Board Members and the Executive and Senior Management teams, our Chief Executive John Clark and Chair of the Board Nick Lewis presented a review of the past year, giving a special mention to the staff who have been supporting our tenants moving on to Universal Credit and the team working at the Mount Wise Towers.

The Board welcomed new Board Members Lavinia Porfir, Liz Nicholls and Maddi Bridgeman, as well as Kelly Wilding who has joined the Customer Focus Committee as a Tenant Co-Optee.  There was also a fond farewell to three Board Members; Sue Dann, Nigel Churchill and Elaine Pellow.

Elaine had been involved with Plymouth Community Homes since the very beginning, serving on the Stock Transfer Agreement Group and then the PCH Board, where she was the Chair of the Board for four years, serving her maximum board membership of nine years in total.

The Annual Accounts (Including the Value for Money statement) highlight to the Shareholders that we are ensuring Value for Money in the service we provide. Value for Money is at the heart of everything we do as a business. It’s embedded throughout the organisation and delivered as part of achieving our strategic objectives. As the main source of our income is social housing rent, we have a duty to spend our money wisely and ensure our residents receive the best possible service.
