Following the Prime Minister’s announcement this evening (Monday 23 March) putting the UK in ‘lockdown’, we have taken the decision to ask all our staff to stay at home tomorrow morning, until we determine who in PCH is classed as a key worker and the level of emergency services we are able to provide.
This will cause a major disruption to our repairs services in particular and we are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause our residents and other customers.
We will be providing emergency repairs only and other services will be provided remotely wherever possible, for example, by telephone, email or video call.
All other appointments will be cancelled and we will be aiming to contact any resident affected by this decision in the morning.
We’ve taken this decision so that we keep our staff and you, our residents, safe and help our NHS by following the Government’s instructions to stop the spread of the virus.
Please be assured that we will continue to do whatever we can to support our tenants, especially those who are older or vulnerable.
