Primrose Park highly commended at LABC Awards night

Plymouth Community Homes has been highly commended as the Best Affordable Housing Development at the Regional LABC Awards held at the Crowne Plaza, Plymouth.

The LABC Awards are the largest business to business awards in the building control sector, recognising quality in all types of building projects.

Primrose Park was nominated in Best High Volume New Housing Development and Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development and was highly commended in the latter category on the night.

It was one of three nominations for PCH, which saw Porsham Heights nominated in Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development and Southern Gate nominated in Best Social or Affordable New Housing Development category.

Andrew Lawrie, Head of Development at Plymouth Community Homes said: “We were delighted to have three developments nominated on the night and are proud that Primrose Park has been highly commended. The homes meet the exacting passivhaus certification standards meaning they are highly energy efficient and economical.”

All winners will now go onto the national finals.

The recognition of Primrose Park comes in the same week that the development was shortlisted in two categories at the RICS Awards, which celebrates the most inspirational projects and achievements of property professionals in the South West.
