Residents’ Awards 2019
We invited residents to our glamorous awards ceremony this week to honour their fantastic achievements!
The residents joined our Board Members and shareholders for a fun-filled evening that was hosted by our chief executive John Clark, with Street Factory’s Toby Gorniak accompanying him as guest host.
The evening began with Toby Gorniak and his Street Factory crew performing their street dance moves to the crowd before the awards were handed out.
Nick Lewis, Chair of the PCH Board said: “These awards aim to recognise the important contributions residents make to their communities as well as their own personal achievements, and act as inspiration to other residents. Everyone who attended had an absolutely fantastic evening and we’re looking forward to doing it all again next year!”
Good Neighbour Award winner Emma Boyle, who was nominated after displaying great courage in helping to beat anti-social behaviour in her community said: “I’m so shocked to win.
“I don’t do this to win awards. I’m doing it for the next generation. We really pushed for CCTV. We want to make it safer for children. The garages weren’t safe. The kids kept running along them so I told Kristina about it – somebody has to raise these issues.”
A big thank you to our sponsors for the evening, Mi-space, Bell Group, Kier, St Luke’s Hospice, AA Woods and Plymouth Raiders.
