Passivhaus is the world's leading low-energy building standard, ensuring that homes under the model have excellent thermal performance, making energy bills extremely low and reducing carbon emissions required to heat homes.

The homes themselves are highly innovative, benefiting from highly insulated doors and tripled-glazed windows which let in virtually no air. The triple-glazed high performance PVCu units were manufactured locally by PCH and meet all the airtightness, u-value and solar gain requirements for Passivhaus.

The properties are designed to stay cool when it’s hot, and warm when it’s cold. They’re air-tight and highly insulated, with mechanical ventilation to keep warm fresh air circulating around the house.
