Welcome to the final quarterly update of our 2025/26 Major Works Investment Programme, keeping you informed on the progress of our PCH Major Works Investment Programme.

During the last year, we have completed surveys and works to over half of our homes. Our teams have demonstrated exceptional dedication in delivering our programmes, which has enabled us to exceed many of our original targets and reach more residents than anticipated. This achievement stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to creating a meaningful and positive impact throughout the communities we support.

Resident Voices

The Home Ownership Day, held on 4 February, drew a strong turnout and sparked lively conversations about both current and future plans across your homes and neighbourhoods. The event played a significant role in shaping the direction of our work, as attendees’ insights and feedback informed our ongoing strategies.

Checking your home is safe - Stock Condition Surveys

Over the past two years, we have consistently shared updates explaining the importance of our Stock Condition Survey, highlighting how these efforts help keep everyone safe and ensure all homes remain compliant. We've also outlined how residents can assist and detailed what we intend to do with the information collected.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who has supported our Surveyors by enabling these surveys to take place. Thanks to your cooperation, we have successfully surveyed over 95% of homes—an achievement that would not have been possible without your support.

Looking ahead, our focus for the coming year will be on completing surveys for the remaining 5% of properties. This includes high-rise buildings, homes identified with a Category 1 HHSRS hazard, and those scheduled for their next assessment. Your ongoing support is invaluable and will help us continue to safeguard households while shaping our future investment programmes.

Social Value in Action

We’re committed to giving back to the communities we serve. This quarter, our contractors have worked with local children to design and create new hoarding at our Pembroke Street Construction site, commenced a T level apprenticeship, 100% waste recycled and diverted from landfill and are working with local businesses to mentor young people interested in securing work in the built environment.

Cecil, Neswick and Kings Street

In December, we shared an update on the planned improvements to the external appearance of Cecil, Neswick, and Kings Street as part of the initial phase of works. Following a series of consultation events, the community expressed a clear preference for one particular option. As a result, painting has now begun, bringing the chosen vision to life and marking a significant step forward in enhancing these neighbourhoods.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We’ll be back later this year with more updates, milestones, and stories from across our neighbourhoods.
